Using our service means using the Remootio Smart Controller action for the Google Assistant and/or using the Remootio Skill for Amazon Alexa. The definiton of personal data

What type of personal data do we process?

We process those of your personal data that we receive in the course our business relationship with you. The types of personal data we process can include your name, address, contact details, e-mail address, your ID data. In addition, this may include order data (e.g. payment orders), sales data, advertising data, and data for the fulfilment of our legal obligations. These data are either obtained directly from you or provided to us by third parties, such as our partner companies.

What is the purpose of processing your personal data?

We process your data for the following purposes:

To fullfil pre-contractual measures and contract obligations with you based on our business relationship. (E.g.: Delivering your order, creating the invoice etc...)
For the fullfilment of our fiscal and other legal obligations
To fullfil our obligations in context to the services that you voluntarily use through the Remootio Smart Controller Google Assistant action.

Your consent to allow us to process your data is voluntarily. You can refuse to give your consent. However, your consent to process your data is required for successfully establishing the business relationship with you, to process, and ship your ordered products, to mantain and provide the services you use while using our smartphone applications. If you don't give your consent or provide us with data, we generally have to refuse to sign a contract or implement an order or we can terminate an existing contract due to no longer being able to execute it or we have to stop providin the services of our smartphone application to you

How long is your data stored?

We will store your data only for as long as necessary for the purpose of which the data was collected. In any case, we will store your data for as long as we are obliged to do so by law (legal retention times) or if periods of limitation for potential legal claims have not yet expired.

To whom do we disclose your personal data and for what purpose?

We will only disclose on your personal data to the extent required for the fulfilment of the objective of the business agreement. We only give your data to such persons or legal entities who need them for the fulfilment of contractual and/or legal obligations.

The use of the Remootio Smart Controller Google Assistant action.

A prequisite to using the Remootio Smart Controller action is having a Remootio device, and using the Remootio smartphone app and the related services. The privacy policy conencted to these services can be found at http://www.remootio.com/privacypolicy.html

Below we describe the different scenarios where data will be shared and that might be subsequently processed by us while using the Remootio Smart Controller skill.

Linking your Remootio account to the action: E-mail address, the name of your Remootio device, the unlock pin code for the action

The use of the Remootio Smart Controller Google Assistant action.

After unlinking your Remootio account from the Remootio Smart Controller action, disabling EasyConnect on your Remootio device, and deleting the Remootio account, most of your your personal data shared due to the Remootio Smart Controller action will be deleted from our database.
